Laundry Of Love is a service of St John’s providing laundry supplies and money to assist with clean clothing needs of the working poor and single families. Volunteers meet at a local laundry and helping with washing for two hours a month. This group operates with volunteers and donations only. The close relationships that develop between the volunteers and the recipients are very meaningful to both groups. Their mission statement was coined by a homeless man(T-Bone) who said, “If I had clean clothes, I think people would treat me like a human being.” Jesus in action!
